Arlington County GOP Campaigns

Coming Soon!

The Arlington County Republican Committee in late February is expected to set in motion its efforts to nominate candidates for offices on the November ballot.

Arlington-only races on the November ballot include two County Board seats, a School Board seat, the 47th House of Delegates seat, sheriff, treasurer and commissioner of revenue. Republicans can nominate candidates in all but the nonpartisan School Board race, where they can endorse a candidate but not formally nominate one.

Decisions on the nominating process for offices that span multiple jurisdictions – including a number of state Senate and House of Delegates seats plus the commonwealth’s attorney race – will be made by a panel of representatives of the GOP organizations in the localities involved.
